Summer of 2014 in Kdrama Land

What a great summer in kdrama-land! Good kdramas have started airing since june and the list of great dramas is getting longer and longer.
We started the summer with "High School King of Savy", who told a unique story (out of reality I could say) but it was a nice one to start.
Next on the list "Fated to love you". As we all know it's the korean version of the taiwanesse drama with the same name. With such a great cast and the lovely way the story is being shown, "Fated to love you" has for sure stealed our hearts and laughters.
Shortly after that "Marriage not dating" started airing. Kyaaa!! Han Groo as a main girl, Yeon Woo Jin as the main guy, it was definitely a must to watch and it didn't dissapointed!   This romantic comedy managed to bring back all my love for kdramas. It just reminded me of the great old romantic clasic comedies kdramas, because yes, I feel like lately kdramaland was lacking on them.

"It's okay it's love" started this July and it's impossible not to like it! A  psychiatric-medical-romance with Jo In Sung (agh how I missed his pretty face) and Gong Hyo Jin, (our lovely Tae Gong Shil) will sure enlighten our summer.
For those who are into teen drama this summer's drama palette has something for them too.
"High School: Love on" is a fantasy romance drama about an angel, played by the lovely Kim Sae Ron, who has no choice but to become a human to save a male student in danger. Guess who that student is? Yup Mr. Eye-Candy Woohyun! Despite the age gap between the leads the drama has a nice story and it's hard to refrain yourself from watching it.

If you are growing tired and you feel the need to watch something more heavier with some angst "Endless love" is there to fullfil your needs. Of course in 40 eps the story might get a little draggy (though at the moment it's pretty good) and you'll probably get annoyed by the female lead (actually I'm 100% you will), but oh well it's worth it for the other characters. Jung Kyung Ho is doing a great job in this drama and yeah I love that his character is somehow gangsterish. He just fits these kind of roles. Ryu Soo Young as well is another great reason to make you wach this drama, despite the fact that I didn't liked his character from the start he's growing on me with every new episode. What can say smart characters are my weakness. ^^

And if you think we had enough good dramas for this summer Tvn's here to prove us the opposite. "Surplus princess" starts airing on 7th August and from the teasers it looks likea promising one. Though if the story doesnt appeal you I'm pretty sure the main leads will. Who in the world can miss seeing Song Jae Rim looking so gorgeous? Although I'm not sure if he'll get the girl in the end because oh well he plays the prince and we all know that the prince doesn't choose the mermaid in the end. (shhh " The Little mermaid" is my source in this theory) Anyway it will be nice seeing him back on screen.
Aaaand that's it! Ha! You wish! Tvn's adding you another drama to your must watch list.
"Discovery of Romance" brings back the lovely pairing Eric Moon and Jung Yu-Mi on the screen. For those who loved "Que sera sera", I'm pretty sure they will be more than excited for this drama.

That's it! For real now! Heheh Autumn, I'm looking forward to you! ^-^/

*Of course this summer review might have missed out on mentioning other greater dramas but hey, I'm only human, it's pretty hard to keep up with so many dramas, (not that I complain^^) but yeah don't feel like I ignored mentioning other dramas just because they are bad, none at all.
